In modern medicine doctor will prescribe you treatment according to your symptoms. Usually birth control pills are prescribed to restore a normal hormonal balance. Along with this metformin is commonly prescribed to improve the insulin resistance. Rest of the treatment is according to your symptoms as medication to control acne if you have it and so on. These treatments will help until you will take it, this is not the permanent solution. You have to improve your diet and lifestyle too because it can occur again if you will not take care of yourself properly.
